START:  Samuell Farm, 100 US Hwy 80 E, Mesquite, Texas.  The walk box is located in the breezeway of the building near the parking lot.
TIMES: Tuesday – Sunday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.   Closed Mondays.  Email for holiday hours.
ROUTES:  The trail is on marked dirt and grass trails and old farm roads.  It is not suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.  The route winds through the 340-acre former farm property passing meadows, wooded areas, ponds, and South Mesquite Creek.   Many varieties of native plants are found along this remnant of disappearing blackland prairie along with a variety of wildlife.  For more info visit www.samuellfarm.com/about_us.html.
DIRECTIONS:  From Dallas exit Highway 80 at Beltline Road, cross Beltline, and Samuell Farm will be about ¼ mile ahead on your right.  From the east, exit Highway 80 at Beltline Road, turn left on Beltline, turn left on the east bound service road, and Samuell Farm will be about ¼ mile ahead on your right.
